Floor care continues to change with the times.
The brooms and mops of yesteryear are quickly being replaced. Oh, the old traditional brooms and mops are still available but not advertized. I still use the old fashioned kind; maybe I’m in a rut. When shopping, I look for bargain brooms. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong places.
Grab a broom; sweep out the cob webs.
Look up towards your ceiling; focus on the corners. You might find a few cop webs clinging there.
Now, look within. We frequently neglect to do a clean sweep in our minds. Whisk away sinful thoughts.
Isaiah relays God's sweeping message.
“It is I who sweep away your transgressions
for My own sake
and remember your sins no more (Isaiah 43:25 HCSB).”
The LORD sweeps out all the corners.
“I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud,
and your sins like a mist.
Return to Me,
for I have redeemed you (Isaiah 44:22 HCSB).”
God makes a clean sweep; let’s not track dirt back inside!
