Poetry
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for a wonderful day,
How everything went ok;
But I did not accomplish much,
For deserving your gentle touch.
I know that I could done much more,
Motivate me giving a cure;
So that I do not lag behind,
By possessing a lazy mind.
I look for ways You have approved,
How my slothfulness is removed;
Replace it with spiritual vim,
Keeping my day from looking grim.
Help my family and my friends,
Able to cope with current trends;
They all will remain safe and sound,
No matter where they may be bound.
Help the leaders upon this land,
Work together to the demand;
Keeping peace and tranquility,
As people enjoy liberty.
Help us to maintain diligence,
With an effective self-defense;
Guarding against the deception,
Of Satan and his perception.
Now as darkness brings on the night,
Help me to rest till morning light;
When I can serve better for You,
As long as You help guide me through.
May the new day bring me new hope,
Through affliction help me to cope;
With for a brighter tomorrow,
Without toils or some sorrows.
In Jesus name I pray, Amen
