SEEING WITHOUT PERCEIVING
In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled which says, “You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; you will keep on seeing, but will not perceive. Matthew 13:14 NASB
Many of us, including me, have trouble perceiving and understanding. Our ears detect sounds which surround our very lives but often cannot sort truth from fiction. Our eyes are often blinded by the glare of conflicting images.
It is important that we continue to search for truth, especially Gods truth. We need to keep our eyes open and see all of God’s creation. A walk in the woods or some other quiet place helps us to see God. It is of the greatest importance that we hear God when He speaks to us. We need to be on alert and receptive to His words. He most often speaks to us in the quiet place in our lives.
I can bear witness to the fact that God hears us and speaks to us. Twice I “heard” His voice. Both times was when I was troubled and in despair. His voice was not loud; it was more of a sudden feeling that came over me. That feeling assured me that all would be well. His voice was true for all did turn out well.
I thank you Father for hearing me, healing me, and most of all for loving me. Amen
