There is coming a day, when every man, every woman, young and old alike.
All will be brought to trial, at the Great Throne of Judgment, and stand to give account of their life.
The books will be opened in that day there will be no room for error, no room for mistakes.
Every person will answer for themselves as before the Great Judge, they tremble, and shake.
The courtroom was packed, yet very quiet and still as all in attendance stood in awe.
I saw one after another bound hand and foot as guilty was proclaimed and fear fell on them all.
One by one they were called to the docket, as from a book was read aloud of all their crimes.
The Judge whose eyes were like fire, declared the guilty verdict on one at a time.
Some declared their innocence, but the Judge was unmoved, the evidence was clear and in the books was meticulously writ.
The guilty were then bound hand and foot, and dragged to the mouth of a bottomless pit.
All present could hear their tormented screams, as into the pit the guilty were cast.
They were overcome with grief in that room each hoping their name would be overlooked, or at least called out last.
I mused that there were no lawyers present there was no one to help, or plead the guilty one’s cause.
The evidence though was overwhelmingly clear, documenting each transgression they had committed of the laws.
Finally there was one brought forward, and his crimes they were having a hard time finding in the books.
In walked an advocate, a mediator, as a lamb that had been slain was his look.
He was very well versed in the law, and informed the Judge that he would take this case.
He spoke to the Judge of his credentials, these credentials said he, allows me to take this one’s place.
The Judge never questioned this wonderful mediator’s actions, but told the accused to enter into my rest.
This accused one was treated differently, led in a different direction, you could just sense that this man was to be blessed.
All stood in wonder listening to the gracious words that proceeded from the advocate’s mouth, as others debts he paid.
He spoke of his sacrificial life, in whose mouth was no guile, no sin, and for others his life was willingly gave.
He quoted the law from the start of the book, even to the end, and how he met all the requirements, for those he called his own.
He then called the Judge his father, and all the redeemed, chosen from the foundation of the world, he took safely home.
There is only one man, between God, and man, that is the man Christ Jesus.
Who for the Joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and willing offered to free us.
You have this life to prepare for this day some men’s sins go beforehand, and some after. Choose ye this day whom ye will serve
If you stand accused that day with no mediator it will be a most grueling day, as you stand before the judge of all the earth
