I recently watched a CNN anchor, relentlessly prod a Christian guest, demanding proof that God exists. The anchor was resolute and passionate about the topic, clearly holding Christians and their God, in the lowest regard. Soon after, I watched a very popular actor/entertainer, explaining in very practical terms, that the Biblical story of Noah, was entirely impossible. That a vessel the size of the Ark, could never contain 2 of every species, from elephants to mice, aboard her decks, and within her cargo holds. He openly mocked The Bible, Gods Word, as nothing more than a childhood fable. But in the process, he missed at least one major truth. God is not confined by mans rules. He doesnt fit in to the dimensional rules of physics and matter by which humans are restricted to. It made me want to yell at my TV screen, "He's God, for goodness sake! " . He hung the stars, and designed the universe. He took a small piece of earth and saliva, and turned it into a man and a woman". I guess the next thing to berate and analyze and joke about is the fact that we can't take earth and saliva and from there create man and woman. That's not possible! And the answer to that could only be 'that's right !' As humans we cannot do that. But clearly, as God, any and all things are possible. At His command, a globe that was " without form, and void " became the Earth. His Son commanded a storm, to " be still ", and at His words, the storm stood still. The universe spins in perfection and precision, because He created it, then commanded it to do exactly what it does. It rotates flawlessly, an engineering feat, unlike any other. God could have put the entirety of creation onto a micro chip, and floated it on a child's wooden toy, if that's what He wanted to do. He's God, for goodness sake.
Isaiah 58- 9 and 10
" My thoughts are not your thoughts, and my ways are not your ways, sayeth The Lord ."As far as the heavens are from the earth, so are my ways farther from your ways, and my thoughts farther from your thoughts".
