Reading in the book of Proverbs chapter 22 verse 6 in the NIV,” Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it”.

I found myself reflecting on my youth as a wild teenager who seem to know no boundaries, but a wild imagination that encouraged devastating results. Like being in trouble with the law, starting fights at school or with those in the community or doing drugs to heal previous pains of life. As God was watching my life unfold, He placed a strategy in the hearts of those who were close to me. In which started the process of disciplining and training me for adult life and that of sustainability in my teenager years. I would have wrap around workers attending school with me in order to keep me in school and improve my grades, my mother and family encouraged me to join the youth group in my church that encouraged nurturing to improve my perspective and appreciation for life, and that of my adult life that was to be shaping for. For my father not being in the picture produced painful and devastating results of a lack of a father figure to bring guidance in my life and strength with it – in which my uncles stepped up to bring a manly figure as a healthy role model in my life to shape and bridge deficiency in many ways.

I still have my days in which I struggle and no longer have interest in preaching for my ways in life are still unhealed and deficiencies are plenty in my life. In which you find even in those who are Christian leaders who teach and instruct us in a life for God. In our human ability we see our expectations ignore, or even perhaps never met in what we expect of others or ourselves and we become disappointed and feel with grief from such. In our struggles like I face, I remember this notice: In our lives we still have grace from a Father who is the best and perfect as a parent to us. For His love and ability to nurture our grief to a healing climax in bridging gaps in our lives from sin in bringing those role models such as my uncle Calvin, uncle Joe and so many more. For those role models bridge those gaps in so many ways to assist us in being whole. In your life as you evaluated it after reading this devotional remember to be thankful for those who apply themselves to your wholeness as they are great parents that God has gifted you to receive. To assist your struggles to be healed in life, remember to forgive those who and all that you obtain in life of those negativities that created deficiencies in your life.

Apply that grace as your Father in heaven bestows upon you in your failures as you grow with God in your life in asking Him to parent you with His love and grace and that of mercy to assist you to be restored in your relationships with all. Forgiving creates freedom of your grief that comes from the resentment and that of bitterness for your expectations that were never met. For His love will encourage you to grow in your spiritual maturity in which you will find peace and in which you will at some point become a parent that holds in your foundational beliefs and structure. That of Christ in your heart as you guide others in the love of our Father to bring peace as a role model for those around you. God bless my friends.
