You made me believe that God sends people in our life for a purpose. He sent you in my life to heal my soul and to soothe my broken heart. Thank you for coming in my life when I was lonely and shattered. Thank you for accepting me just for what I am and just the way I am. You loved me and supported me when I needed it the most. Thank you for making my life extraordinary and magical. I am irrevocably in love with your soul. You make me a believer.

Oh, what an incredible journey we have had! 26 years together and counting. But, what I think shocks a lot of people when they first meet us, is that this was both of our second marriages. When we are young we make a lot of bad decisions, and Lord knows I made way more than my fair share. When I was 18 years old I got married for all the wrong reasons, and married a girl I barely knew. By age 23, I found myself a single father raising 1 and 3 year old sons on my own. Then, at age 26 I gave my life to Christ, and God began to show me how much He loves me and sent an Angel into my life, and life has never been the same. But the only way I was able to have the amazing life I have today was to let go of a toxic relationship, that I, not God chose. You see, my first marriage had NOTHING to do with God. My vows in His presence meant nothing to me, simply because I did not know Him. But, after I gave my life to Christ, I was finally able to experience what James meant when he wrote, "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father..." (James 1:17) This is why it is so extremely important for young Christians, especially young Christian ladies to understand, they MUST wait for God to place that special someone into their lives. Do they really think God is going to send them someone who does not know Him? This is why the Holy Spirit led Paul to write in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?" I don't care how good looking, sweet, or kind a young man may seem. If he isn't a child of God, that relationship is doomed from the beginning. Because, more times than not, the girl will eventually leave her Christian life, and settle into a life God did not choose, and what a shame it is to be a Christian and not be walking in their divine purpose.
Take it from someone who has lived it, God has the perfect gift for each and every one of His children. We just have to be patient and understand, God doesn't make mistakes, and His timing is ALWAYS perfect.
From my heart to yours!
