My Angel will go before you and bring U into

God made a promise to the children of Israel who were about to go into the Promise Land. By mentioning the Angel that will bring them into the Promise Land. Let’s read what God had Promised Moses and the children of Israel;

Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. (v. 20)

Beware of Him and obey His Voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him. (v. 21)

But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. (v. 22)

FOR MY ANGEL WILL GO BEFORE YOU AND BRING YOU IN TO the Amorites and the Hittities and the Perizzites and the Canaanites and the Hivites and the Jebusites; and I will cut them off. (v. 23) (Exodus 23:20-23 NKJV)

Understanding Old Testament Application as a New Testament Believer

This Promise was made to Moses and the children of Israel, before they entered the Promise land. The Lord gave them this Promise to assure them that HE is with them, nevertheless, the Angel will work on assisting the children of Israel into the Promise Land. Now, it’s interesting that the children of Israel have not reached the edge of the Promise Land YET—when God made this Promise to them. It was an 11 day journey that turned into a 40 year experience—because they disobeyed God on several occasions.

However, the point we must see in this Promise, that is, also available to us today through Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20 NKJV); we must follow the instructions by Faith, believing that God has our best interests at heart to get us to the Present Promise Land HE has for us today.

* We must believe that God has sent His Angel Before us.
* We must believe that the Angel is keeping us (Protected) NOW!
* We must believe that the Angel is going to bring us to the place God prepared for us.
* We must BEWARE (Conscious spiritually and believe the Scriptures) that the Angel is with us.
* We must learn to obey the Voice of the Angel. Whether HE speaks to us through a Dream, Vision, an Audible Voice or an Angelic Touch even if we cannot see Him.
* We cannot provoke Him (get Him angry) by relying on other (so-called spiritual methods) of trying to do the Will of God. Examples—tarot Cards, Palm readings, horoscopes, ouji boards, etc. Or by being out-right rebellious, stubborn, and stiff-necked, as the children of Israel were.
* The Angel won’t forgive us. Only God will! So we need to be mindful of the conditions that have been laid out for us in the Old Testament that we must and can apply today being New Testament Believers and being successful entering the Promise Land God has prepared for us to inherit today.

Our Promise Land (Where is it???)

Our Promise Land could be in our current location where we live, work, play (recreate), attend school, or training or our Church for a time or season that God has appointed us to be there. Then after we have served God there successfully in the current location we live-in, God may have us go somewhere else to possess more land.

The Promise Land at Work

Let’s say that where we are currently working with our company, we came in as a low-level or mid-level employee. And there is room for growth with that company. There’s even the opportunity to be the CEO. Well, it’s our responsibility as Christians to do all our work with excellence (Col. 3:23-25 NKJV)

Our gift (talent, skill, ability we have been given by God) will make room for us and bring us before great men (The big-wigs of the company) (Proverbs 18:16 NKJV). As God sends His Angel before us and we are granted favor, we will experience Promotions as it starts coming our way little by little, until God has brought us into the position of upper management or ultimately the CEO—if that is what God had planned for us to get too! And that’s if we are willing to allow God to take us there! That means doing things God’s way which will be the hard, ‘but right way’ of getting to the top. Instead of doing things our way by sleeping our way to the top, or brown nosing our way to the top, or stepping on others to get to the top. Let’s choose God’s way of getting to the top.

The Difficulties of Getting to the top

The Promise that God was making to Moses and the children of Israel starts in (Exodus 23:20 thru to verse 33 NKJV). In the process of God explaining to Moses what the Promise entails, God breaks-down a step-by-step process of getting into the Promise Land. Then God explains the adjustments that must be made while we are there until it fully becomes ours free and clear of opposition. Let’s read some of those verses;

I will send My fear before you, I will cause you confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you. (v. 27)

I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the beast of the field become too numerous for you. (v. 29)

Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the land. (v. 30) (Exodus 23:27, 29-30 NKJV)

These verses gives us practical lessons of operating with the Angels of God, when it comes to the patience we need to exercise with our co-workers and the company’s politics. We will surely encounter challenges and trials as God sends HIS fear and confusion upon the people we work with. As we are trying our best to get ahead and bring order and convenience with unique professional practices and hard work, people will get upset and turn on us. Then as we witness opposition, we will find that our enemies or slackers are little by little disappearing. And we are gaining more of the Promise Land at work. But we must exercise the Wisdom of God during our promotional periods and be conscious of the step-by-step successes as the Angel of God leads us to gain full possession of our Promise Land at work.

I’ve shared many testimonies in my previous articles on how God promoted me in every company I’ve previously worked for. And using God’s method of getting to the top is not easy—but doable by HIS Grace, Mercy, Power, Anointing on our lives and the Angels that are sent before us to help us enter the Promise Land fully and effectively for the Glory of God.

The Promise Land at Church

Church—the structural place where people gather to worship on Sundays and throughout the week. Can be a Promise Land that has to be taken from the enemy and those who are not really worshipping God.

I’ve been Saved (Born-again) since December 28, 1991. Since then till now, I have witnessed ignorance and evil rule the pulpit. Pastors, assistant pastors, Deacons and Ushers who live like unbelievers who put on shows instead of Preaching and teaching the Word of God with a Powerful Anointing. I’ve also witness Pastor’s Preach someone else’s sermons or a sermon they preached 20 years ago that was also not Anointed. It had no impact or wow factor—it was as dry as an old stale piece of bread.

When it comes to the Will of God being done by a servant of God. He or she must continually be seeking God by prayer and fasting and reading the Word of God to gain fresh revelation from Scripture to share the Word of God with HIS people. I’m speaking to Ministers. (Not new believers!)

The Angel and the Stair-well to Heaven

I shared in my previous article, “Guidance and Protection by Angelic Beings” written 3-9-2015. How, I received my very first Dream with an Angel, Friday January 29th, 1993. In this Dream the Angel was welding a stair-well to heaven. He had a long white robe with a sword strapped to His side, long hair, with huge wings, goggles, welding gloves, and a welding torch connected to the two hoses like we have here on earth, that was connected to the two welding tanks. The Angel lifted up His goggles and said to me, “to help Him weld the stair-well to Heaven so we can get the people up there.”

Then a monkey/rat looking creature passes by and squeaked then drew my attention away from the Angel and I started to chase this demon all around the construction area where the stair-well is being built. I woke up, and I said, what in the world did that Dream mean? As I meditated on that Dream, I heard a Voice in my Conscience say, KEEP AWAY FROM STRIFE AND ARGUMENTS. (Proverbs 20:3 NKJV).

Where I was in my first Church, the spiritual brothers (who pray, fast, and consecrate themselves to the Lord) were arguing and striving against the carnal brothers (who watch freaky R-rated sex scene movies) and they were running the Tuesday Prayer services and Sunday Church services.

I was a Christian for about a year. So, I really didn’t know all about the Consecration and super dedication a Born-again Christian who is Called by God to live a holy lifestyle that Ministers should practically live out. To be honest with you without trying to make anyone feel bad, I was already led by God to live a separated lifestyle—and I really didn’t think nothing of it. So when the more mature brothers started complaining, I listened and then I said to myself, that wasn’t right to not fellowship with the carnal brothers because they are a bunch of lust boys. This is when I had the Dream after I heard the drama. So, after the Dream I went to both parties and said, I love you guys whether you’re super holy or still carnal. I will be available to anyone who wishes to fellowship—without the judgmental character.

They all witness the love of God as I continued to talk to everyone. So, God was using this situation to bring people together, so this Stair-well to heaven could be built, and The Promise Land was slowly but surely becoming a reality in my first Church.

The Angel Broke down the Wall

On Sunday March 7th 1993, I had another Dream with this other Angel who was about 20 feet tall, built like the Incredible Hulk, HE looked like Hercules from the Charlton Helston movie. He had Black hair pushed back, beard and mustache, chiseled jaw-line, extremely handsome, white robe, sword strapped to His side, huge wings, and He had on sandals with the laces that wrapped around His awesome calf muscles up to His knees. I said to myself, man wished I looked like this Angel, as I stared at Him.

He said to me and J.C. (one of the spiritual brothers in my first Church) come here. We walked toward this 18 foot stone castle like wall. J.C. and I were carrying black leather bound Bibles. The Angel placed one hand on the top wall, and the other hand on the side of the wall and ripped it down. Then the Angel said, GO AHEAD! We listened and walked ahead over the rubble that was on the ground.

This Angel made a way for us to preach the Gospel outside of the Church Walls. Because the Pastor did not want me or J.C. Preaching in the Church at that time. After this Dream I shared it with J.C. when I woke up and J.C. and I went Preaching outside the Church Walls. People were being Saved, Healed and Baptized in the Holy Spirit and taught the Word of God. This is what it means to enter the Promise Land in the Church you’re in, being led By an Angel.

Angels Guiding Us into the Promise Land

The Promise Land on earth is the current Land we are living and operating in. We all have areas (portions of Land) in which God has ordained for us to enter into and Possess it little by little. Notice how God made HIS Promise to us;

* He will not drive out our enemies in a year (God gave us a time factor to consider).
* He will drive out our enemies little by little.
* He will do it so we won’t be overwhelmed.
* He does things gradually. So we need to flow into the things that God does gradually.
* The Angel will bring fear and confusion to our enemies. So when we see people freaking out or having melt-downs, don’t be alarm its part of God’s game plan to get them out and allow us to take over the Promise Land.
* Angels will Communicate with us thru a Dream, Vision, Audible Voice, Angelic Touch, and their Powerful Presence. So we need to learn all we can about their Biblical Methods of Communication so we can Scripturally make the adjustments we need to make to obey their Voice and Leading.
