Give ear to me, my Lord, Jesus Christ.
You are my rock and tower of safety.
Please don't turn a deaf ear towards me
where my prayers are unanswered
for I'll be just like those who go down to the pit.
Give ear to my cries for mercy
for my pleads are solely for You.

Don't let me be carried away
with those who devise evil in their hearts
when You send out the destroyers
of the wicked;
those who are kind with their neighbors
but their hearts are full of hate for them.
Give to the just according to their works
and the same to the wicked
according to the works of their deeds.
Do they repent and turn to You
in their times of trouble?
You know, for You see all.
Or do they grab their idols
and devote themselves to them;
despising the truth in Your Word
to follow traditions taught by man?
Those who do, Jesus Christ will tear down
and they will be built up no more.

Jesus Christ, You, are our blessing!
You hear every cry for mercy.
Jesus Christ alone is the source of strength
when weakness abounds.
In Him my heart sings out, my heart trusts,
my heart hopes, and my heart exults,
with songs and psalms I give thanks to You.

He alone is the strength of the people,
the place where refuge is found for His anointed.
Save Your people, Father,
and pour blessing upon blessing over Your heritage.
Be the Shepherd being sought
and carry all of us, forever.
I ask this in Jesus name,
Amen.
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty,
Who was, and is, and is to come.
