Those I was speaking of, Father,
who hate those who once held them as slaves,
it isn't everyone in that group.
There are some there who have forgiven
their captors.
The reason why I say there are some who still do
is because of the way acted toward strangers.
Their words and actions
are cruel, harsh, inconsiderate,
and unkind.
And their faces portray the same
with eyes squinted.
This is not my assumption
this is what I've experienced in my life.
You see them too, Father.
You see them all,
everything done in secret is before You
like a map laid flat on a table
is every living thing upon the earth
before You.
And every step taken is known by You
for You are the One directing each step.
Those who sow wickedness in secret or openly
reap wickedness
You direct all our steps according to our hearts desire.
For instance:
You know the unjust anger of the wicked
just as You know the love in the hearts of the upright
who speak with intent meant for good
and who are misunderstood.
You see and know the plots of the wicked
for it is You who lead them by their hearts desire.
When they plan evil towards any of Your children
Your love protects Your children
from the plans of the wicked
proving how Your steadfast love and mercy
is showered upon them daily.
And those who plan evil are brought to shame
for they are not taking their anger to You
they take it into their own hands
so their own works humiliate them.
They fall victim to the evil their heart desires.
Not one detail is missed by You.
You give back the very thing given and intended.
Your ways are just, O Lord.
Surely You do sit on High above all,
seeing all.
My heart praises Your works.
No works are as just as Yours, Father.
To what can I compare to You?
I cannot compare my work
nor any other work upon the face of the earth
to You.
I forgive those who have taken their anger
into their own hands
instead of giving it to You
and have already secretly and openly
acted with evil intent toward Your children
for misunderstanding them as we speak up
about the injustices around us
and who do not accept us like You do
expecting those who step forward
to be free of all sin, clean and pure white.
They do not know that in order to become
white like You
we must first die and be made alive again
should that be Your will
for the one who passes
for the day when people are changed at Your coming
has not come to pass yet.
Therefore those clothed in white
are either appointed by the people or themselves
not You.
You do allow them the privilege to represent You
should they choose such a noble task
and just as You build them up
for the good fruit they bear
You also knock down
in due time if they wander from the gospel
taught in Your Word by
the prophets of old.
It is not my true hearts desire, Father,
that those misleading Your lost children
be completely destroyed.
If it is Your will,
give us all the eyes that continually observe
and see ourselves that we may not need
to be rebuked by You
and that we may be true examples
of what it means to be Your servants.
I ask this in Jesus' name,
Amen.
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty,
Who was, and is, and is to come.
