Her priests, Father,
are elected by peoples driven by
selfish desires.
And the priests are like the people.
They show partiality
and say to the wicked,
"You are good and you are right."
They do not rebuke sexual immorality.
In fact they embrace it and work
to destroy the Holy meaning of marriage
but they know it not.
They do so to please the majority
of people who are living in sin.
And they refuse to see
the way they are living is sin.
And how can they ever see they are living in sin
when the leaders appointed by them
support the way they live!?
Isn't it written:
Partiality in judging is not good.
Whoever says to the wicked, "You are right,"
will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations,
but those who rebuke the wicked will have delight,
and a good blessing will come upon them? (Proverbs 24: 23-25)
and:
Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21)
Do not be deceived:
God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that he will also reap.
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit
will from the Spirit reap eternal life. (Galatians 6: 7-8)
But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. (Ephesians 5: 3)
So I ask You, Father,
are these people parading as saints
the people You appointed to lead Your people?
If it is Your will,
give them their just reward
that Your people may no longer be led astray.
I ask this in Jesus' name,
Amen!
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty,
Who was, and is, and is to come.
