Psalm 1549

Okay, Father, I've recognized
that in the mornings when I wake
there are many external factors
that begin working to steal my joy.
We all know my history,
and my updates can prove it.
I can speak words
that aren't pleasing to the Spirit.
Forgive me for that, Father.
I ask, Father, in Jesus' name,
if it is Your will Lord,
and if this is what You created me for
I ask that the words I speak
be given to me by the Spirit
that I may explain the Spirit's spiritual truths.
You know the things I struggle with daily.
His influence on others tries to distract me.
I know, Father, they are unaware
of what is occurring
which is even more reason
I must remain patient.
Forgive them, Father,
when they work
to make me lose my patience.
If it is Your will,
I ask, Father,
that You open my understanding
to Your will each morning.
What I've seen, Father,
which I hope in my heart
was from You,
I'm just letting You know
I've not the wisdom
to be that person.
If what I've seen was from You
then I ask too, Father,
that You give me the wisdom
to be that person.
I'm practicing what I'm learning, Father.
For I suffered too much
scorning wisdom
and turning my back to her
to embrace immoral and evil ways.
I've been bringing them all before You
because in my suffering I'm learning
not to fear evil and immoral ways
and embrace them with open arms.
Instead I should fear You more.
This is a piece of wisdom
I've learned so far.
Living in fear of You,
has caused me to refrain
from certain things.
I know, Father,
that there are trials
I must still endure.
These things I'm asking, Father,
I ask in Jesus' name,
Amen.
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty,
Who was, and is, and is to come.
