Psalm 150: 6
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
Genuine praise towards God originates in the heart. It is a force the builds as we meditate about his goodness. It wells up inside of us as we reflect on his provision. It bubbles over into thoughts of thanksgiving. Praise, however, must move from simply being a thought. It must be expressed with our mouths. Our words may begin as whispers, but as we repeat them over and over, those whispers eventually move to shouts. As the Holy Spirit breaths on us, we just like the instruments mentioned in Psalm 150, emit a sound that is pleasing to the Lord. When your voice joins in with other believers, God truly hears a symphony.
Thought for the day: Won’t you join me today and sang praises to the Lord?
