Faith
It's a question that has been asked by every generation of man since the dawn of time: Why is there suffering in the world, especially for the good people of great faith in God" It seems they sometimes must endure greater difficulties and deeper pain than others who are blatantly evil? There never seems to be one concise answer, yet there are satisfactory answers found within each act of faith in every circumstance. For it is by accepting in faith: God's sovereign will as the best of all possible scenarios. In every situation we can find; comfort, peace and purpose, resulting in an even greater faith.
Is a tangible means of explaining God's rationale necessary to accept His will? Are not the benefits of trusting our creator, of acknowledging and accepting the fact that God's wisdom dwarfs the greatest minds of men enough? The benefits of embracing His glorious, divine wisdom, of believing in His great love for us, while walking in obedience to His directives, inherently outweigh any and all suffering.
A peace that goes beyond all earthly comprehension cannot be found in peaceful circumstances, for that would be understandable. That sense of peace would be natural. It is only through the miraculous imparting of peace in a bad situation that we can truly come to know the power that God is willing to release into our lives, as He transforms us after the perfect paradigm of His Son. It is also through these wonderfully horrendous seeming circumstances that we learn what it is to fully trust, to "Let go and let God" work. There is no more lucid understanding than that of retrospect, so until we trust at a much deeper level, through greater hardships we will never fully comprehend the power that is available to us.
"Love Grows"
Upon the altar I placed my heart
When all my love To God I gave
For this one life Relieved of strife
He paid the price to save
Then came the trials
Where many miles
Were wrought with hardships sore
I knew the pain For strength to gain
And loved Him even more
I found that faith required trust
With inner eyes to see
The spirit realm where fights the just
My flesh the enemy
Each day love grew
To Him I flew
His arms would comfort me
When in the dark
The night so stark
From fear I could be free
Soon the day shall come at last
The mighty trumpet of God shall blast
And what He has begun
Images of the Son
Created in you and me
Shall be perfected gloriously
I seek to know How far to go
Till love consumes my being
No more to roam When I’ll be home
My king I will be seeing
