The other day while driving along a community road, I noticed a sign posted on a lawn, which read: Vote Freedom First. Immediately, I asked the person riding with me, what this campaign message was pertaining to. Of course, he was just as baffled on the facts as I. Nevertheless, I couldn’t help but continue pondering more in-depth what this sign was promoting.
After all, Jesus died on the cross and established our freedom. In fact, Galatians 5:1 instructs: Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
However, lately I cannot help but continue being consumed by a country that has not only misplaced the meaning of liberty, but seems entangled in bondage. And while there are some who have proclaimed liberty and freedom by stepping outside the boundaries of everyday tradition. Countless others have not achieved this level of awakening.
Yet, being a Christian automatically instills a standard of liberty and freedom.
This is why knowing Matthew 22:29 is so important. After all, it instructs: Ye err not knowing the Scripture or the power of God. In fact, knowing the Scripture gives Christians authority over their freedom. So much, it unleashes us from an entangled way of living and instills an attitude of grandeur that reflects a positive aura in virtually every aspect of our lives.
However, because so many have turned away from the simplicity there is in the love of Christ, the governing bodies that be, continue establishing regulations impeding upon many freedoms employed to society. Yet despite this fact, those who are under the blood of Christ are no longer required to live in compliance to the laws of the land, because we now walk in compliance to the laws of God.
Still for those who are subjected to the regulations governed by law enforcement and state and federal constitutions, perhaps the idea of voting freedom first may inspire you to take the initiative to implement positive actions in the way you conduct yourself; and in doing so, you will discover the very freedom you are searching for already lyes within your heart and mind.
In the meantime, if you are not familiar with the power enveloped within the Scripture, I recommend a newly released book entitled We Err Not Knowing or Studying the Scripture-Matthew 22:29. After all, this phenomenal study guide will enlighten you on the most valuable scriptures any Christian should know. In addition, this extensive journey into the history of religious doctrine also provides answers to why religious lore is imperative to the lives of God’s children, especially their freedom; in a society overcome by perilous times.
