For You Today; Its Mothers Day


Never before have I written this day
To say; I miss you mum, its mothers day
I know you’re with God and have no fear
You’re in my heart and always quite near

I miss you so much and think of you always
Especially today and all special days
My mum you were, are and will always be
No one can replace you for only you I see

With God as your helper you created me
Look at me today, I’m big and happy
Long are the day s gone when I was sad
You kept your promise I am so glad

You said you’d always be there for me
God showed me how you came to see
That I’d be well I owe it all to two
Won to God and One to you

When I was little you were my world
Nothing has changed, the cream hasn’t curled
I loved you then, I love you now, I always will
Till the day I die, your love stands still

In my heart I remember well all you shared
for even after death you still came and cared
With God and His hand far out-stretched
His Word on my heart, tattooed He etched

To last forever today, tomorrow and all-ways.
