Who Is Your Daddy?
Talk Man, Talk Your Daddy Up
Matthew 19:17, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God.
Matthew 23:9 and call no man your Father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in Heaven.
In this life we live, we should ask ourselves, what are we here for? Many talk the talk, but do they really know of whom they speak of? Jesus knew His Father, as He came from the Father to the earth to do a redemptive work for the Father in the Earth to restore mankind once again to their Heavenly Father. Jesus was the Word in the beginning and now he comes to bring restoration to man once again to the Father. He set at liberty all men that would believe on Him. Why do we run from Him when we should be running to Him? If Jesus came to bring restoration to man that they would have right relationship with God, their Creator why would they deny him by the acts they do in the flesh?
That right relationship calls for us to give up the world. We were to live in the earth, enjoy it, and praise God. This relationship calls for sacrifices to be made. The Word is only hard to live when we don’t want to obey it. Who is that faithful and wise servant that rules over his household to give the people meat in due season. We are blessed when the Lord comes and find us doing what is right. We want to hear God say one day well done thy good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many thing enter into the joy of the Lord. We have to keep our hearts pure and undefiled before the Lord. Jesus said in John 8:42-44, If, God were your Father, ye would love me; for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but He sent me.
Jesus also said that we cannot understand His speech because we cannot hear his Word. He also told us that if we refuse to hear and take his Word to heart that we are of our Father the Devil and the lusts of your father we will do. Satan was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own; for he is a liar and the father of it.
Who is your daddy? Talk Man Talk!
Satan has presented himself as an angel of light and he rules the earth. He is a liar. He tries to portray Jesus as a false prophet. He tries to portray Jesus as what he is. He knows also that if we call on Jesus for our help that God is going to show up and help us because it’s not his will that any of us perish. Satan lies to men and tells man it is impossible to live holy, Mark 10:27 Jesus says we can live holy for with God all things are possible. God is the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. He is not the God of the dead but the God of the living when we live our lives unto him.
He will make the impossible possible just trust and obey. God sent his Son as a teacher that we may hear and learn of our Heavenly Father and choose to live for Him. Oh what sweet joy it is to rest in the Lord. We must seek for the Kingdom of God, Romans 14:17, for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
How do we get to our Father, God?
We first must accept the finished work of Christ. We must accept that He is and that He is a rewarder to them that diligently seek him. Diligently means we are characterized with the same like passion as Jesus. He was steady, earnest and energetic in all that he did. Even through pain he perservered so that we may have an open door to Heaven with our Father. Many times Jesus was hurt, made to take the pain through acute mental assassination by those he came to save. He was not accepted by his own people. But thank God he didn’t just come to them, He did come to them first and they received him not. Bruised and Wounded but he took it for us. Jesus took the pain, how many of us are ready to take on the pain of Jesus Christ to save a soul.
Jesus said he would return man to the Father no matter what came and went, for He knew that the battle was already won. God wants us sanctified. Why sanctified and why did He send Jesus to show us how we are to live? This is a common question among the Church world today, but do they really want to know why? What does it mean to be sanctified? What is salvation? What does restoration mean? Can we really live Godly in this world? Is God’s Spirituality for man today after all we are human and have a human nature? If you want answers keep reading.
