God kept you in His light!

When you felt so all alone,
He held you through the night!

When the shadows began to creep,
God kept you in His view!

When the darkness filled the day,
He helped you make it through!

When you felt no one would care,
God kept you by His side!

When you could not bear the pain,
He held you as you cried!

When you thought your strength was gone,
God kept you in the race!

When you felt your hope would fade,
He saved you through His grace!

When you could not find your way,
God kept you in His sight!

When you thought no one could see,
He held you in His light!
