ANNIE'S PRAYER

("I am the Lord your God, who teaches
what is best for you, who directs you
in the way you should go." Isaiah 48:17)

Oh that my heart would always seek good things
all times, and I would trust that
God always knows where He is leading me
though I may not know where I'm at.
What e'er my situation is,
whatever I may need,
Your ways and laws are perfect, Lord,
and You will direct my feet.
Seems I'm always stumbling,
some days can be distressing...
I am so grateful You can turn
my mess-ups into blessings.
You, Lord, know what is best for me.
Lord, help me always follow
and not depend upon myself
to so much trouble borrow.
Regardless of my situation,
may I always look to You,
confide in You, abide in You,
listen, hear and follow through.
