My Son
You have been forgiven
And I’ve made you My son
Know that I’d have died for you
If you were the only one
My love for you knows no bounds
It runs deeper than the seas
I love when upon discovering this
You fall humbly to your knees
The hairs on your head are numbered
And your breath is in My hands
My son, I know everything
Your heart I understand
I know the circumstances
And trials that you face
When tempted by impurity
Ask me for my grace
Your heart is prone to wander
Know that there’s a cure
You’re freed from sins enslavement
Through My strength you must endure
It hurts Me when you willingly
Give in to satan’s lies
Know that I’ve provided you
Ways to escape through by
I’m sorry for my unfaithfulness
And all my filthy sins
When tempted with impurity
I willingly give in
I’m ashamed that after knowing You
I try to trade You in
How could One so perfect
Overlook my sins?
Your sins I did not overlook
I paid the price full well
My love led me to bear your cross
Up that lonely hill
When satan before the Father
Tries to accuse you of your sins
I have only to lift My hands
Wounds to prove
That you He can forgive
Because you’re a new creation
With a new heart and a new mind
Evidence of your guilt is lost
Though I look I cannot find
So don’t listen to satan’s lies
Surrender all to Me
In order to win the battle
You must fight on your knees
Know that you’re forgiven
For all you’ve ever done
Only Me and nothing else
Can satisfy you, My son
