Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop
I did see that you are an aunt. I think it was on FB, but not sure. Amy and I had a nice time together. She was here from Monday to Friday. With the blizzard, we weren't sure if we'd figure it out, but it was really nice. We did a lot of crafts.

Hi-ho, fellow nut popping in!
Well, Shann's ahead of me now; we're exchanging punches in the game. I'm glad you finally got to meet Amy and had a nice time.
I watched videos on stupid people not knowing stuff like who's the US vice president and who won the civil war? Not many knew the answer. Maybe they don't care about history.

There's a vice president? Hm, never heard of him.
Amy and I met once before but it was only for a couple of hours.

Well of course we have a Vice president, it is the other guy I'm not so sure of.
Sad news. The other mid shift guy decided NOT to move and I WON'T be getting the extra hours I was promised. Oh well, at least I can still do odd jobs.

The Fox website has the new season of X-Files to watch for free. The last episode was funny - werelizard instead of werewolf

Ahh, Pup sorry to hear about not getting the other jobs, but I think doing odd jobs really suits your personality!
Oh I love you so dear Puppers.
I wonder if Becky is still enjoying the snow that was dumped on MD a couple of weeks ago. We've had a very mild winter. Normally, we get hit hard, but it's been great so far. This week the temperature is supposed to drop below zero and we are expecting the most snow so far this winter. It's pretty much all grass out there now.
I touched base with Leah yesterday. It was nice to chat with her. I should bug her to pop in and say howdy.
I love playing Word with Jay and Bus Boss. We chat sometimes, but mainly just try to beat each other. No we're not competitive at all cough cough. I play with Seema too. If anyone else wants to jump in, we should do a group game.
Well, I've got editing to do. I've been really busy, which is nice, but scary sometimes. I wonder if I'm really good enough. I'm also toying with trying to find a publisher for my Wrigley books, but the thought is so scary.

Scary...? Yeah, I can see that. Getting a book published, that you been working on for years and year, is a hard thing to accomplish. And then to live up to it, all the fans screaming for YOUR book. The people you will touch with such a work, encouraging them on in a life of love and peace. I can see why you would be worried.
But you can do it. I know you can. And we all know you don't want to disappoint me now, do ya.

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop
So I heard that one of my mom's best friend is in the ICU. In May, it'll be 2 years since the doctors told her she had two weeks to live. I know every day has been a gift. She and her husband celebrated their 50th anniversary last year. Even though she's dying, she's been such an inspiration to me every time I've gone to see her. I feel a connection to Mom through her. She's been ready to cross over and has no fear or doubt, but I don't want her to go. It'll feel like I'm losing Mom again. I'm so sad, but I know God is in control and don't believe she has an expiration date stamped on her foot regardless of what docs say.

Tell her I'm sorry Jay. There's a weird glitch in my app. I play a word and on my board it shows up, but it doesn't show up on the other person's board. I can't play because it says it's the other person's turn and they can't see I took my turn so it times out and looks like I withdrew (it affects my stats too grrrrr). Please tell her to start a new game with me and I'd be delighted to play or the three of us could play.
