I'm sorry you're feeling sick, Chrissy. I'm praying you will be able to rest and quickly be on the mend.

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop
I've been considering submitting my book to Writer's Integrity Publishing. I don't to put all my eggs in one basket so I'll check other avenues, possibly smashwords.
It's difficult to watch the Olympics as they want you to signup for live streaming and I'll need our directv number. If I have to go through the hoops, forget it; not very important. I didn't watch the last winter games.

Didn't they just have the Olympics a couple years ago? I thought that was only every four years.

There's more? Of course. I may not get to it for a while because I'm desperately trying to do this humongous overwhelming edit on a MS with a deadline that keeps getting closer and closer.

Just finished watching curling, as in the game.
I saw Gracie Gold skate for the first time; quite impressive. That Russian girl topped her, though. I love figure skating.

Okay, where is everybody? Do I have BO and would you tell me if I did.
The most obvious person missing is Becky, when she's not here Pup picks on me and no one is here to swat him with a newspaper.
Barb, I'm thinking of you as your surgery approaches. I wish I could be there for you. Hm, have you thought of flying East and going to Warsaw hospital.? And how many people are scratching their heads wondering why I'm suggesting she go to Poland?
Allison popped in a bit ago, but haven't heard lately.
Seems are you still lurking?
Shari, did you give up on us?
Jay did you not come back because I schooled you in Word? (I know, I won by the skin of my teeth, but have to keep my rep up
)
Holly saw you for a bit but haven't heard from you since your lom (as opposed to lol which stood for Lil old Lady way before the other). I hope your still plugging away.
Leah, haven't seen you in ages either. I miss your OB stories and you.
I know Amy hasn't been feeling well, but still wish she could pop in more.
If I forgot anyone, I'm really sorry, I do love you all but my mind is going. I say lack of sleep, others say I'm old. Who ya gonna believe?

Hi! I should be working on my challenge entry, but I feeling like popping into the rest stop for a bit.
We had a cold snap here for a couple weeks, but it looks like it's over now. I'm happy to be able to run again, and get my kiddos outside!
Shann, have you seen this thread:A Few Tips For the Reluctant Reviewer? Would you be able to do 5 challenge reviews a week? I know you are great at this, but maybe you're too busy.
Anyone else?

You know, I have often thought that women curling their hair was just a game they like playing on us guys, but I didn't know they made it a spectator sport for winter.jaybird wrote:Just finished watching curling, as in the game.

And Shann, I am not picking on you, I am even offering you a full book of poetry to sell as your own. How is that picking.

Oh man Pup, you left yourself wide open on that one. I'm in a nice mood though...HA!
I'm upset I missed curling. I think the reason why it's so popular is because many spectators think, "I could do that>" I tried to tell Q that when I made him sweep the floor when he was a kid, it was to help him train to be a curler. He didn't buy it.
