Tense's
When I write my challenge story most of time my stories are past tense. To spite it is past tense is it ok in the dialog to be present tense because I am writing actually what someone’s says?
Ken--yes. Here's an example, and I hope this is what you're asking.
Jan kissed her granddaughter's chubby feet, and Piper wiggled with delight. "Pippie, you make me so happy."
Kissed and wiggled are past tense, but make is present tense. That's just fine.
