Hi everyone.
It's time to post the list of highest ranked entries for the "Fearful" Challenge.
As always, congratulations to all the winners, and a big pat on the back to all those who ranked in the top 40 overall, or in the top 15 for their level. Well done!
For those who missed making it into the highest rankings, don't feel too bad. Remember, we hit 200 entries for this particular topic, so the competition was pretty intense. You may have been just a fraction behind.
Love, Deb

Congratulations! There were so many good entries. Some made me cry. Some gave me chills. Some made me smile. One even made me itch. (Not mentioning any names JOANNE!) They were great. Good job, everyone.

Congratulations on the wonderful news for everyone listed...

I know...I'm number 12. Soooo close I can taste it! I know how it feels though--my second entry I ever entered for the challenge way back when it was only the top 8 entries got number 9...a few months later and it would have been in and I would have had two ECs in a row...but those days are long gone, lol. It's nice though to have finally placed in Advanced!BettyDee wrote:Congrats to all. But, but, but, I'm number 11. Ouch, that really does hurt. I'd rather be number 200 than number 11.
Anyway, congrats everyone! The entries were amazing!

Don't EVEN go there, Douglas (now I know your name, muwahhhahahaaaaa!!) .Twiga wrote:WooHoo!!! I'm the worst of the best of the worst. Number 11? nothing so gaudy. Number twelve? not quite so pretentious. I need a badge that says beginners #15 so I can wear it proudly. At this rate, I should be rushing into masters (in 9 or 23 years)
You MADE the list. You are aware that there were SIXTY stories in beginners that did not make the list, and were therefore "worse" than you were. There were also close to that number in advanced that did not get recognized, some of which probably rated lower than you did - not to mention those in intermediate and masters.
(by the way, I know you were not being completely serious - but you hit a nerve, mister!)
(and now you all know how to bring out the crotchety old schoolmarm in me, eh?)
