Passive sentences

I understand passive sentence construction is not as strong as the active construction, but is it necessarily wrong? Sometimes the scene seems to dictate the passive voice. Also, it seems to me that a little variety would actually make for better reading.

The passive voice is not necessarily wrong. In fact, as you say, it is often indicated and may be preferred in certain instances.
