Someone asked me to write blogs for her website for a fee. The subject matter matches that of my own blog and I am intrigued. Is this ghost writing (since it is her business webpage and I think she wants it "ghost" written - which were the first words of her email to me.) How does this differ from copywriting? Pitfalls? Any advice? Thank you in advance.

Ghostwriting is writing for someone else. They then own the material and you can't use it under your name, so you would need to remove the articles on your blog or if the company /person allows it, you could leave a link giving them credit. It's like selling pretty much anything. It no longer belongs to you, but the person who paid you to write it. Here's an article about it:

Copywriting is more advertising writing. It's a subtle difference. Here's a great article that explains the difference.
