Please look out for a email from Pastor Chris and Loraine Demetriou Smith @ [email protected]

A email is being sent out for a request for a speaking engament, wanting you to come speak at the Church. My email said they seen me on Faithwriters.com

The website for the Church does have a alert that this is a scam.

Thanks for posting this, Shellie. I've made it a sticky for the time being, while the scam is still going on.

Seriously, if something seems too good to be true, it most probably is. In this case, there were so many signs, one being that they were using a gmail address. A church that big would have emails associated with their domain.

The scammers are getting very clever. They know the Nigerian princesses with million dollar inheritances just aren't doing it anymore, so they're going for other soft spots instead.
