Re: Alphabetical List of All Writing Lessons
Sending many thanks your way, Jan. Can this list remain at the top of the Forum/Thread? I have yet to figure out the difference.

I have a love affair with words. I write, even when I think I can't. I'm hooked on words!

Lillian, it's been stickied, so it's not going anywhere.lish1936 wrote:Sending many thanks your way, Jan. Can this list remain at the top of the Forum/Thread? I have yet to figure out the difference.

The forums (plural) are the totality of this area.
A forum (singular) is any one of the locations you can click on from the previous page. "Jan's Writing Basics" is one forum; "The Water Cooler" is another (for example).
A topic is any entry in a particular forum. This topic is "Alphabetical List of all Writing Forums."
A thread is a topic plus all of its responses.
I hope that makes sense to you! Let me know if I can clarify any further.

Re: Alphabetical List of All Writing Lessons
Yes, it does. I've made it easy to remember. F(s), F, To, Th (Two F's, Two T's.) Just like the two A's for age and accommodations.Jan wrote:I hope that makes sense to you! Let me know if I can clarify any further.
Thanks, (To you, too, Joanne).
