I noticed as I congratulated people that there were numerous entries with no comments or just one comment. I'd like to challenge everyone who enters to read and leave a review on every entry in their level and maybe 2 times in each of the other levels. Not only will you be encouraging someone else, but you'll also find ways that you can't imagine that will help you become a better writer. If commenting on just a couple each night, you'll make a huge difference and you will become a stronger writer. Anyone up to it?

Yes, Shann. We're trying to get people to get into the habit of "spreading the love." If everyone who entered took the time to leave feedback on some entries, it would make a big difference ... but it needs everyone to be involved.

I'm one of the guilty ones who often doesn't get around to reading and commenting on many entries. I wonder if it would help to challenge people to:
1) read and comment on at least 3 from their own level, chosen at random, and
2) every time someone comments on theirs to comment on 2 more - one from their level and one other.
Just some thoughts. Blessings, Ellen

That's kind of what I've been suggesting with the "spread the love" idea, but the old "you can lead a horse to water" saying is very true. It's not always possible for people to make time for reading some weeks, but like you said, even a few entries in their own level would be a blessing to someone.

I know a lot of people will comment on the winners, which is great, but try to remember those who didn't place. They need the feedback too. Often, people will tell me they were about to give up, discouraged, but my comment helped change their minds. What an awesome feeling that is! :D
