NOOOO WAAY!

I figured I would maybe make the top 40 (I really liked writing this one), but no way did I expect to get my second EC from this! WOW! I am ecstatic! Gotta get back to work, but I'll be back on the boards this evening to share in the joy with all the other winners! Thanks so much judges! So many good entries this week, and I'm humbled to be part of this great group of writers. :D

I didn't enter again for the UK topic, but I am just happy that my one entry this quarter has done well. Hopefully I'll sneak in a few more entries before the quarter is over. :)

 Wow. Really didn't expect to see my name today at all.
I don't have to move up until it's in the top 10, right?

I know there are some great entries here and for all of you. . . :rockon :clap !

First off, thanks to the judges. I never expected to place so high in my level nor ever in my wildest dreams expected an EC. (Can someone please explain to me what that means?)

Anyway, I submitted for the UK and placed it in level one. Will it be automatically moved to level 2 or will it be in level one for one more week?

God Bless and thanks again!!!!

The EC stands for Editor's Choice, and it's the top ten entries by points, regardless of level. To make it there from Beginners is a great accomplishment!

As far as your piece for this week, it'll still be in Beginners where you placed it--that happens to everyone as they move up, just because of the 1-week delay. It's nothing to worry about...just put your "Canada" entry in Intermediate.

Congratulations!

EC stands for Editors Choice and is the top 10 overall, regardless of level. These entries are eventually complied into a printed anthology with all the other top 10 or "EC" winners for that quarter. Right now, however, the printed anthology books are about 2 years behind.

CONGRATS to all! :D
