Now will someone please pick me off the floor!

I had about all given up on ever placing, again, feeling I was an embarrassment to "Masters". In fact, bowed out of last week's "embarrased" competition, not wanting to embarrass myself...I got the email from "Faithwriters Agreement" absolutely SHOCKED before I even checked the winners---almost forgot it was Thursday...

Thank you, judges! Guess it pays to enter when less than 130 take part----gives me more of a chance...LOL...As you can tell, I'm still in shock!

That's a scary thought.

I see that, Joanne. Cheer up. Maybe you can write about it this week in your SAD entry. You are still a winner in my book!

I am doing the HAPPY dance this morning.

Congratulations to everyone who placed and/or entered.

The happy pieces were all so fun to read. I think the embarrassing stories will be a hoot. I'll stock up on tissues for the sad entries.

Congratulations everyone. Wonderful writing out there. Have to finish reading all of them later today.

Right now I'm going to celebrate at the "Happiest Place on Earth" (Disneyland). I'll say hi to Mickey for all of you, if you'd like.

:D

SOmething weird has happened to my ability to get online for faithwriters web site... everything else has been working fine. So all day yesterday I thought the web site was out of operation.. I wrote Cathy Kane and she told me no... it was fine up in Washington (Im in Houston)... so I asked her to tell me the results this morning.. and MIRACLE OF MIRACLES... I got first place in beginners... and she got first place in Intermediate.

.. So here I am at the library so I actually SEE the ribbon cause I thought I would be in beginners forever... and ever and I was ok with that... I had to see for myself... so thanks to the judges... it was a confirmation about something I am going to start doing... keeping a log of the ridiculous and funny things that happen to me on a daily basis..

I shouldnt be allowed on the streets of America without Candid Camera following me... thanks to everyone... Im scared of Intermediate cause I know what that means to move up... YIKES>..

I can't believe Im at the library to see the ribbon and try to take it in.pretty pathetic need for affirmation.. hey I can take pathetic anyday..
.
THANK YOU JUDGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless .. Dianne

I would so be at the library, too! I guess we both can relate to Cathy's story!

Congrats! (And thanks CG and Joanne for the kind words.)
