Well I was sick last week with allergies tormenting me and now I just got over a 2 day stomach bug. It was so bad I couldn't even keep water or liquids down the first day. Finally last night I was able to keep down crackers and jello and today I've been able to keep down Cereal and egg salad sandwich.

Sorry this has been a crazy week. Glad you're feeling better Becky. Sounds like a miserable few days.

Q's house was broken into and all of his electronics stolen. Then someone broke into my neighbor's house and stabbed him. Plus I've been so busy with editing.

Today was nice though. We celebrated mother's day and I had one of the best mother's day ever.

Oh my gosh! I'm sorry. That's too much! BUT I'm glad you had an awesome Mother's Day. :)

Glad you had a good mom's day, how about our other mothers?

Q's roommate was in the shower and they are guessing that when the shower turned off dude panicked (or when it turned on) and he dropped roommate's Kindle and left behind the bag he brought. Q's backpack was nicer and still packed with a lot of stuff from a trip he had. Luckily, the roommate wasn't hurt. Stuff not found, but insurance covered most after a $500 deductible.

The neighbor is fine. Had 10 stitches, but doesn't know for sure who did it but has ideas but doesn't seem willing to be overly cooperative.

Then his wasn't a burgler but a personal grudge... the guy better watch out, that or get the bad guy first. Why wont he just tell the police. Unless it was his girlfriend's husband and he is trying to keep quiet on it. Hummmm.. or is he married... Maybe it was his wife's lover trying to do him in for the insurance money.

I know I know I read way too many murder mysteries when I was younger.

Well at least Q can get most of their stuff replaced. Too bad the guys bag didn't have ID in it, that would have been halarious.

Yikes, Shann! That's crazy that Q was robbed. I wonder if it's more stressful when your kids grow up and leave home...

I ran in my 8km race at the beginning of May. I'm so happy that I finished, and I'm looking forward to beating my time (54 minutes) next year.

I had a great mother's day. My kiddos gave me cards, flowers and a really, really big balloon. :D

It's been a stressful week. Congrats on your race, Rachel. I had a delightful Mother's Day too but didn't get a balloon (that's a HUGE one) Am leaving for NC any minute now (well probably longer the way I'm moving) It will be so nice to see Q. Wish whole family could go, but someone has to stay home and look after poor Phin. First I left him while in hospital and now won't let him go to the beach with me. I considered it, but the thought of brushing sand out of a Pom's fur...I do have him listed as a therapy dog, but will try it another day. Right now the anxiety isn't so bad. No Wi-Fi I think so you may not hear from me for a while (no cheering behind my back! :pirate2 )

Have a great week everyone. Hugs!

Have a wonderful trip, Shann!

Ethan got me the balloon. He was so excited about it and wanted me to start blowing it up right away. I figured I was going to pass out, but Kevin saved me with and electric pump. :D

That's not a big balloon. I rode in a BIG balloon once. Waaaaay cool. 8)

Oh and Shann...? You have heard of coffee shops, haven't you. Most of them even have tea. And get this. MOST of them have free wi-fi.

Here is a test for you. I know I am being mean and adding to your stress level, but... get out and about, try and make at least two posts while you are gone.

But have fun. (even if you are stressed)
