Hi Leah! So nice to see you here again! It was you and Shann that made me feel so welcome when I first joined FaithWriters. You sound crazy busy. I hope you get some time to relax.

Shann, I was able to upload the book pictures to my blog and then past the url address here. This is the J page. Would you like me to post any others.

Oooo, wierd page number.

Hi Leah, I would never admit to noticing you were gone, but welcome back.

And I must admit I am amazed, I never knew you had to take classes to use MSN. I have had a HotMail account for years and never took a single class.

Wait a second. That name looks really familiar. Penn state even, Now.... who do I know in that state of confusion. It will come to me... something about reading soup cans, and cereal boxes. Maaan it is suchh a drag getting old, 100 years ago I would have remembered like a shot. Hummmm... something to do with Peppermint.

Hmmm, I don't understand Shann's Jj page. J for jungle gym? I understand if there were a jaybird.

I started reading a book, which has good narration, cause mine is lacking- it's titled Under the Lilacs by Louisa May Alcott.

Gonna get chilly. :brrr

Just got a text from Becky. She is asking for prayers. Her shoulder is hurting and she is in excruciating pain. She is also like some curmudgeon whom shall remain nameless who also refuses to go to doctor :tongue

Hey Patty welcome back. Glad you found your way. :D Now keep coming back.

Thanks for posting the picture Rachel, if they want to see more maybe we can talk them into buying the book! It's almost ready. Amy sent it to me in one package this morning. It was the first time I was able to see them all together.

And J is for Josh and John.

At recess, we jump and climb.
We play on the jungle gym.
Josh finds Mr. Green and says,
"John's shoe! He needs you to help him."

The title is Tie My Shoe and it's about life in kindergarten.

Now what were we talking about.

I'm getting the feeling that 5 years from now I'll still be new. :D You guys have been chatting a long time!

I'm several thousand words behind in my word count for NaNo, and I'm only going to get further behind this week. I have a ladies study that I'm leading tonight. I have a teacher coming from the school that my kids are registered in on Thursday to look at my kids' school portfolios (we homeschool) so I need to make sure everything is in there and tie up loose ends. And, I have a biblical counselling session scheduled on Thursday evening (me leading).

I don't know if I'll get caught up on NaNo, but I do know that I have time to do everything that God has for me to do. I just need to rest in that. :)

It was -22C (that's -8F for you folks south of the border) when I got up this morning. I should take up cross country skiing and really make the most of the 5 months of winter we get here. :)

We get below zero here, but not usually in November. You've been super busy! You'll probably groan Rachel when you see my email. (It's okay to say no to me.) Cross country skiing is good exercise. I try to do it on my Wii but am not balanced enough (No comments, I made it too easy for you Pup and Becky)

Plus Jay, I wrote a whole story about you once and now you want to be in my picture book too! The story was a flop with most people and the judges.http://www.faithwriters.com/wc-article- ... p?id=41089 Hmm maybe because I used the name Jay! :tongue I can't believe it was two years since I wrote that! man where is time going? I feel like I've lost a lot. I see a car made in 98 and think it's still on the new side. Oh dear!

It hasn't been that long. I mean really I have only been here since 2005.

And Rachel... if you are wanting to catch up on your word count, skiing is not the way to go. :P

As for Shannipoo... :heehee

Shannipoo?? I thought it was Shannikins.

Beagle boy, I thought you were talkin' about me, but then I saw the next post so didn't reply. I am sooo happy to see your cute little puppy face again.

Thanks you'ns (Pittsburghese) guys for the welcome back. Blame it on Shann if you disagree.

I actually wrote almost a whole fishbowl story for the Challenge, then discovered it was too late, lol.

RachaelM, I love the J Page--very nice! I'm into drawings also, but it takes me a zillion years to finish one. I do better at manipulating graphics that OTHER peeps drew. Don't feel bad; 10 years from now you'll be considered old too. Hmmm...that didn't come out right.

Hugs and blessings to you'ns.
