We've had a few bouts of sudden and violent winds ... I've tried to be more careful what I eat since then

Mom reported a lot of air turbulence flying to San Diego. Back here we got our first significant snowfall.

I slept horribly last night and now I've woken up with a headache, and my nose is stuffed up. My cheeks hurts and well pretty much my whole head and face hurts and of course I'm completely exhausted. My throat is sore too.

Guess what? Our own Seema has just won FIRST PLACE in a secular writing contest with her Christian story. Congrats, Seema! Here's the link: http://janiewrites.com/writing-contests ... t-winners/

Becky, sorry you aren't feeling well again. :( I was sleeping so soundly when my alarm went off--not usual. Wish I wasn't subbing at church so I could just go back to bed. But maybe a nap later...

Becky, I pray you feel better soon.

Way to go Seema, congrats!

My mom landed in Cincinnati safely. Things are uneventful here with the nurses and I.

It snowed yesterday and today 50 degrees F and sunny.

:clap :clap :clap :clap !!! I read it and it is A D O R A B L E Semmakins! Not to mention CLEVER. Congratulations! When I saw a few writing contests for Halloween, just brushed the idea of entering aside as I couldn't think of anything that would be pleasing to the Lord. Shows how unimaginative I was.

Sorry ewes not feeling well Beakers and glad your little body finally got a gooooood rest Amykins.I'm in need of doing the same but too much going on right now, but eventually I hope to be able to catch up on some much needed sleep.

Well I'm posting my V-W-X-Y-Z MEME tomorrow. (well is a deep subject, I know)

Seema, clever story and I figured it out toward the end.

I need to get back to finish my novel and I'll need to edit my Christian teen novel since its former "POD Publisher didn't edit it like I assumed they would - glad I've been released from them. Thinking on a new title.

I am good. I am home now. And hour and a half ago I wasn't doing so well, was still at work chilling out in the frozen foods. Have I ever mentioned that I don't like doing frozen foods?

Seema I so loved your story! And to think you almost didn't enter cuz the Halloween theme!

Jay, how'd your birthday go? How long is your mom going to be gone?

Tim, you are too funny. BTW I love your challenge entry. There was one in level 3 about cats that made me think of you. It was hysterical, but yours was powerful! http://www.faithwriters.com/wc-article- ... p?id=41042

Becky, hope you feel better and that your phone is working again. Isn't your driver's test coming up?

Pup, I agree with Becky, Bad kitty!0 :tongue I was trying to think of some cool retort to your chillin in the frozen section, but I came up blank. :coolsign

Shelley, I always love it when you leave a comment, you and Barb often lurk in the background but I can always feel your love (both of you have that quiet, strong way about you that makes me feel loved)

Hiya Holly, Ivy, Kara, Amy, Leonie, Kate and what's her name, you know the troublemaker who shows up every now and then to keep Pup in his place? :tongue

I hurt my back somehow. I can barely move. I wasn't sure I'd even be able to get my pjs on but you'll all be delighted to know I had enough strength to get both nightgown and matching underwear on. I never would have slept with a purple gown and green underwear!

Hope everyone has a delightful evening. The moon is awesome. It's full and a beautiful orange! :coolsign
