Yes you are behind, several years actually. I quit the store about 5 years back now, started at the station, ummm...... June 3 years ago.

Don't you laugh at me! I think he is wrong about his timing. Whose memory are you going to trust?

The thud you just heard was me falling out of my chair. :rolling

That or thunder, it just shook my house. Could be that alien ship breaking the sound barrier again. And of course the government will deny anything ever happened.

Shann, if it makes you feel any better, I knew he wasn't at the store anymore, (I think?) but I didn't know he was working at a gas station, and I definitely didn't think it had been five years since he'd been at the store! Pup, aren't you in Washington? And is Washington one of the states (the only state?) where you can't pump your own gas?

Sirius B4. Rather small planet (maybe the size of Mars) in a triplet star system, though one of the stars is less than dwarf statice and they call it a binary system, it does create a rather bright day time, even with all the rain.

Back in 1953 when they started doing self-serve gas, Oregon and New Jersey opted out for the liabilaty and the emploment rate. Now a bunch or out of state busness types are coming in wanting to change that. But anyway...

Yes Shann, I left the store 5 years back, did remodels for a couple years, mostly for the land lord to cover rent. Then on June 3 2015, I started work at the station. Just three days a week for a while, doing odd jobs on the side for extra cash. Now, full time. AND it is just down the street from the kiddos, I walk passed every day on me way home.

Heh. I knew you were near Amy, and I know she's in Washington, but close to the Oregon border. And I definitely remember the work for your landlord now, just didn't realize how long it had been.

I still say you are all messing with me. Next you'll say the kiddos aren't 3 and 5 any more or something even more ridiculous like it's 2017!

5 and 11. So you got part of it right.

Picked me up a new tablet, me other one needs fixed, off/on button is broke. Now I can do web searches again. and I found a really cool camper, and it is made here in Oregon. Don't like the pick-up truck one but the others are cool. Earthcruiser.

Sure, I can lend you $20 easy.

I would still need the funds saved up to pay for the trip. That and rent untill I get back, unless I retire to the road lofe, which would mean me going homeless again. Not too thrilled about that idea.
