I guess you can add that one as page one in the "Message of God" book Shann. After a few years without writing ANYthing, I was surpized as anyone it did that good.

Stopped by to see the kids, but as school is still in only the four year old was out playing. After picking me a pocket full of dandylions and wild daisies, we walk in circles around the trailer park, and the Monkey refused to let go of my hand. For almost an hour.

Mom needed to go pick up Slug from school and we started packing up the little, but she didn't want me to leave. Even said I had to wait until they got back. I laughed and asked why.

(Picture time) Tiny little four year old, hands on hip, looking very serious... "Cause I said so, Uncle Ed."

Ah, Uncle Pup, she really loves you. Dandelions are the utmost highest forms of flattery. I can't believe you have them already. It'll be at least another 6 to 8 weeks before they speckle my yard.

We have had them here since the middle of February, and the grass is in definate need of mowing, but the landlord waits until it gets at least a foot tall before mowing. What's with that?

Yesterday, I went to the store for a few minutes. We'd had a sewage overflow running down our driveway for the past few days, and before I left, one of my roomies commented, "Why doesn't anyone call about it?" On my way back, I passed a burger joint near my house, and one of our house guests told me, "The city's here, and boy are they mad!" Yep, sure enough, the city plumbing/sewer maintenance trucks were out front, and the crew didn't look too happy. After an hour's work, with one of them coming into our house to run water, etc., the problem was solved.

I can just imagine how mad our landlady is going to be when she gets the bill, and likely a good-sized fine as well. Twenty years of code violations on this house, folks; originally built in 1912, with an illegal addition added in the 80s, probably after she bought it. Wouldn't be surprised if she has it torn down after we leave; I just bet getting it up to code will cost more than the house is worth. Oh, well, that's what you get for not knowing what you're doing in real estate.

Pup, those girls are adorable! We are so far away from flowers here! The lake is still locked in ice (although the swans have returned to the open spot where the river starts.) We have at least a month and a half before the leaves start to grow on the trees!

Had me a good Easter morning. Went to a breakfast fellowship with some friends here. They have been inviting me for years but... I finally went. And it was cool. I knew several of the people there. Because of work though I couldn't stay, but it was still good.
