In ancient Greece I believe... A group of college students got together to form a Think-tank to "scientifically" prove that very thing. When one reaches a set age time does start moving faster for them relative to the world around them. They even coined a phrase or two in doing their work.

Using a marble and a board bent in one place, (later they used metal piping run in different ways) they tried to explain. The marble would roll slower at first ,then as it reached the bend in the board it would speed up on the more downward angle. The more downhill the angle, the faster it moved.

Hence, the terms "Around the Bend", "downward spiral", and "Over the Hill" came to be.

But as the saying goes, "It is all mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter."

LAUREN!! HAPPY DANCE!! I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU. YAY! YAY ! You have to come back again and tell us how you've been. I know life has been rough the last few years, but you have been in my prayers.

First Becky and Barbie come back after a long absence then you! It would be amazing to hear from some of the other, originals like Holly, (The original original) Tiara (The terror), Ivy (or has Pup called her Fred) Bus Boss (or as Becky said Bus Butt) and Shelled (I think we just called her beautiful) and of course Pup's little bird Amy (though I do talk to her everyday so I don't miss her, but I know others do.) :party :party :party

Hi, Shann, how are you? :D It's funny. I'm so used to FB that I wanted to "like" your post...lol.

It's been an adventurous time in my life the last few years, both good and bad, but it's starting to settle - finally. Life is good, and God is good.

Is the challenge still going on this quarter or is it on break? I really need to get back into the habit of writing.

This week love and grace is the last one before the break. You should really look around. A lot of things had changed with the new owners. Mike offers a lot of contests. You just missed the deadline for the testimony challenge.

Hmm...I will, thank you. :) I met Mike and Bea last year at the conference and really liked them, but I haven't explored to see what has changed and so on, so I will. My main thing right now is that I have to keep my life in balance or things will go crazy again, but I also want to work on my writing. So now I have to figure how to fit it in so things don't overwhelm me. In the meantime, it's just one step at a time, one day at a time.

Hi, Barb. I'm glad to hear that the new job is going well!

Happy belated birthday, Shann! It's my twins' birthday today. They're 10. :)

Hi, Lauren! I don't think we've met before. I'm the crazy girl with six kids way up in Canada. :D

((BOMBER)) Nice to see you, Sis.
I have to keep my life in balance or things will go crazy again,
Does that mean I have to act... NORMAL... around you?

Oh, Pup. Did you really use the word "normal" while describing yourself? Are you alright? You might check your temperature, don't want you to come down with a deadly fever or anything.

The words normal and a Pup don't really go together so they? :tongue

Yeah, tell me about it. I was so scared, it took me four times to type it right.
