Holly, Seema, Amy, Sheri, DJ, Tiarra... I miss Spunky, and worrying about the LittleBird. Haven't heard for Bubbles in so long I am sure she has forgotten us little poeple. :(

Congratulations Toni, :thumbs It is always a blessing to hear of one of us little poeple getting a jump in life.

Then too, it will mean we see less of her as she goes on that world wind tour of book signings, conferences and syminars. Then all the hussle to get more new stuff out there. We might get lucky and see her once a year now.

Maybe we shouldn't pray so hard for others to get ahead....

Amy has been hurting quite a bit. She did come back East to see specialist and they have some plans in action that hopefully will make her feel better. We were going to try to spend a week together but we both were feeling cruddy so decided to postpone it til later.

I wish all those people would come back too. I think that's the bittersweet part about FW. As people get better, opportunities come along and then it's hard to spend as much time here. I'm glad things are going good, but I miss people too.

Way to go, Toni! You have no idea how excited I am for you!
:superhappy :clap :party

Shann, so glad you had a restful vacation! It's sad to hear that Amy is in so much pain. Could you pass on a hug from me?

Jay, that's so cool that your working on your YA novel. It's my favourite genre too. I read aloud to my children an hour every night and we've read so many great books. Just finished The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. We're reading Charlotte's Web right now. The Red Rock mysteries had chapters that were 2-5 pages long. That was too short for me and I found them choppy. I think 5-10 pages is normal.

Rebecky, so sorry to hear things haven't been going well. :(

Thanks everyone!

And since Rachel has become such a wonderful friend I don't think she's going to let me move on from all of you. 8)

I hate ear infections, Becky. Been having them all my life and now I have to take allergy medicine just to keep from getting them.

Busy work night last night...still recovering and might need a nap. Have a bunch of things I could do but just might take the whole night to recharge and read my new books (I ordered the Divergent series after seeing the movie only 4 times).

Hope everyone else had a nice Memorial Day.

Ah Becky sorry you are feeling so cruddy. With all the weather changes and what-not I'm sure it's hard.

Toni Happy Dance! I hope it all works out for you.

Leah it's nice to see you pop in too. I know someone who is looking for some people to do some editing. Do you all know anyone or feel comfortable doing professional editing. You'd probably have to live in the States because of tax stuff.

Also I know Rich is looking for a challenge buddy, preferably a male. I've offered to help when I can but it's getting harder and harder for me to help. What about you Jay? Would you be up to helping him? Maybe do a proof for him before he submits.

I'm still waiting for my pony Toni and Rachel  And I'll answer Rachel's question because I know Pup doesn't like to talk about himself. Suffice to say July has some sad and bad memories for him. He did write an awesome book that explains a lot of it. He might even send it to you if you ask. And Pup I haven't checked to see if I can see the stuff you sent me on the PC but I think if I can't and I can catch Chris in a good mood he can help.

I struggle with August because that's when my mom died. The 4th of July is hard too for me because she always had big parties at the lake cottage.

I checked and it works Pup. Now I just need the time to look at it. Please remind me if I forget. My brain is not where I would like it

Maybe. It depends on the extent of the work. When I'm not working full time nights, I'm usually catching up on things or recovering. My Master's program asked us to spend 20 hours/week on each module (and it took that for me to maintain my A) and that was too much of a stretch for me.

I totally did not realize I was working last night and stayed up way too late reading my new books to get a good sleep. Ryan kept asking me when I was going to bed and I thought he just wanted to get rid of me so he could sit on the couch but it was because he was looking at the calendar and wondering why I was still up by mid-morning. Thankfully he bought me Starbucks before I left and made dinner, and my patient was busy enough so I stayed awake with no problem during the night. Then most of my night shift coworkers went out for breakfast so I went with them. I love my night shift team. We really are a special bunch.

Hope everyone is having a good week and that you're feeling better, Becky.

Not knowing the length of dear sweet Shann's memory, or my own for remembering to remind her, I will venture she means now...

Oh Shann...?
