Thanks to the encouragement of Joanne, Laurie and Mariane on FaceBook, I have returned to paid membership here at Faithwriters. I believe others have also jumped in. It's been nearly 6 years since I last submitted an article for the challenge, but did this week. I'm even working on one for next week!
I keep popping in here to see if there is anything going on, and it's sad to see such a ghost town. It's just me and a couple of bots.
With people coming back, is it possible to resurrect the boards? I'm retired now, so have time to dawdle in here!
What do you think?

I would LOVE to get people back here on the boards! It was tons of fun. We'll just have to drag folks over, I think

Welcome back Ms. Barbie. Faithwriters remains my favorite "writers retreat." Deb, Jan, and Anne, have left a living legacy for writers, new and experienced, that can't be duplicated, in my opinion.
Keep dragging them back, Joanne et al.

Thanks for the welcome response! (I've already experienced writing the disappearing post.

) I'm excited that that desire to write has returned, and I hope to use it more and more.

The forums really have slowed way down since a lot of folks joined Facebook.

So happy to see many familiar faces and see people writing again! I've not written anything in a while, maybe I'll jump in again too.

Good to see you back. I came back because Mariane posted about it on Facebook and I had an overwhelming desire to write for pleasure again. I have been so focused on work (and I write technical content so I write a lot) that I forgot all about the sheer pleasure of writing a fun piece.

Yes, it was fun writing my first piece in years! Usually my weeks go fast, but it's sure seems slow from Thursday to Thursday right now.
I'm glad to see others also returning! May we all do well!

YAY Glad to see you here, Barb! It's been a while for me too. Just now returning. Beginning 2019 back in the writer's seat.

Penning words for the heart and soul,
Karls
