Titles

I think there is a skill in choosing the right title. I know that professional editors put big stock in helping an author find the exact title to help sell their book. I've noticed that some Challenge titles draw me to click on that entry. Other times, I have come to the end of an article and said, ...

Re: Get Ready Fiction Writers.....

I'm considering re-submitting the same novel that I submitted two years ago.

I've revised it and polished it, and I'm anxious to see if it's better.

Is this okay? or would you rather I submit another one?

Re: Tate Publishing Company?

Hmmmm.... wow....thanks, Deb. I'll keep my wits about me. It did look like a "too good to be true" organization. I am finding there are a TON of self-publishing/partnership publishing companies out there. For my poetry and short devotionals, I'm thinking that e-publishing will probably be ...

Tate Publishing Company?

While perusing the internet, I came across this - http://www.tatepublishing.com/index.php Someone said there was a discussion about it here, but it seems to have been lost. So...I'm bringing up the subject again. It looks good, but if it was in this forum, then there must be something wrong. What ca...

I'm so embarrassed! I wasn't clicking on the box for the Platinum Members....just going to the WRITING UNIVERSITY.

I couldn't find those 12 Free Classes!

Oh well....finally got there... (thanks Laury)

Kristi, I don't have an answer to your question. (since I'm just looking into doing them myself)

I have my own question -
How we can download them (with our membership benefits) without having to buy them?

Oh, you don't want to get me started on Maine mispronounced words! They leave "r's" out of some words and add them to of others. "Aren't" and "aunt" are pronounced the same. I drove me crazy when I first moved here. I even wrote about it. Ant or Aunt There is one that i...

Okay, I'm responding to both myself and Gerald here. I've done some looking, and it seems that "who" referring to animals with personality is a gray area. Here's my suggestion: 1. Informative sentences about animals--use "that" Elephants are the only mammals that can't jump. 2. ...
