Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

We have horrible water and it turns all the chrome black and leaves rust stains everywhere else so I know have a toilet that isn't red and the sink looks good too. I started the tub but didn't get very far. It's really gross and we even have a filter and a water softener but it doesn't help. So, I ...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

So, my wife and I went to an Independence Day parade in Blaine, WA, and the first thing down the street was the Colour Guard detachment. If I remember correctly, they were from the local Coast Guard station. That was very nice, but what tore at my gut was what followed. There were individuals and co...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

I don't understand what it is about big public sites; they start out serving people, letting them do what they want within certain boundaries, then BOOM! All of a sudden, they change it overnight, and it's more of their own personal site than the public's. Always, always, always follow the money. T...

Okay, that's just funny right there. I don't know if you meant it to be, but I busted out a laugh as I read that.

Re: Tampa Bay Florida Writer's Group

JJ, looked at the site. It is very clean and well designed. I'm at work now and don't have much time to dig in and read anything in great depth, but I'm going to suggest that you articulate your positions more clearly than you think you do. Perhaps the real key is the "younger voice" you're looking ...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Did I read right that we'll meet you at the conference, DJ? You'll get to enjoy Pup's fudge (even the one he's experimenting with for me, right? ) and meet all us crazy folks. :( Sadly, no. It was just too short a notice to pull it all together. It is, undoubtedly, something I'll want and...

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Okay, so I note that JesusPuppy is one of the males here, but beyond that, HE was born in Kansas and moved to the Pacific Northwest too. Coincidence? :fingerwag HA!!! I think not. It's a conspiracy.

We're taking over. You have been warned!!

Re: Pacific Coast Rest-Stop

Greetings all. Shann said I had to become a part of the Pacific Coasters, or she would have my membership revoked. Since I've been here only a week, that seemed premature, so I decided I'd better comply. Pup, Jay and sometimes Tim are our resident males and take a beating from time to time. I guess ...
