Delicate they are, fragile like me,
Gentle to touch and they fly so free.
All different colors, just like mankind.
Pleasing to see and delightful to find.
Storms and bad weather can damage their wings.
So can nets and animals among other things.
I've been netted myself upon occasion.
The evil doers never take a vacation.
Awesome changes take place with Christ in my heart.
Born again, set free with a brand new start.
Butterflies break from their own cocoon,
learning to fly under the sun and the moon.
They enjoy air, sunshine, flowers and sky.
I love nature, the same as a butterfly.
A butterfly will rest in a bush or a tree.
I rest upon Jesus, such pure tranquility.
2 Thessalonians 1:7
And to you who are troubled
rest with us, when the
Lord Jesus shall be
revealed from heaven
with his mighty angels,
