Often, we try our best to do the right thing, living a life pleasing to God. But some days, it's so tiring. At times, my brain needs a rest. What's even more frustrating is when it seems like you're doing all you can in life and nothing is going as planned. We feel like we're not getting anywhere; our hard work is being overlooked by our peers and Jesus Christ. We get discouraged, wanting to quit...what's the use of trying at all?
This is why it is so important that we feed our spirits with the Word of God. One of my favorite scriptures is, "Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." - 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NKJV). Now...our strength runs out again and again on this journey. However, the Holy Spirit, living in us, is always energized, ready to go even when we don't feel like it. :o) So, I encourage you all to let Him strengthen you when you're weak. Only by His power can we make it in every area of our lives. Jesus loves you. :o) Peace...
