Topic: Endurance (03/22/04)

TITLE: Endurance Is Part Of His Plan.
By Julie Pisacane

In the church, there is a sense of renewal for the soul after Sunday service and singing. Afterwards ,we slowly approach the doors to exit into the world and endure the trials set before you. We shall endure and march forth slowly and carefully for the Son of the Most High has already won the war for us.

We endure the person in front of our car who just stopped short for no reason , the constant bickering and meddling from unsaved family members , the office people we work with that can 't seem to gossip enough and the state of marriage presently being redefined . Prices go higher , we get older and yet we faithfully march on enduring the most bizarre events in history because...they are nothing compared to what Jesus Christ had to endure for us. Spat upon , crowned with thorns , stripped and tortured while we were sinners .

Endurance is necessary and will help us to become closer to God in our daily faith walk . You think you're problems weren't part of His plan ? Then you are not walking close enough or seeing well enough. He will give you strength and all you have to do is be faithful and prayerful.

Everything in life is part of God's plan. Smile , knowing that endurance is a gift from God . Consider yourself blessed if you are handling every situation carefully by softened words and insight . Every breath of fresh air you take is a gift from God to keep you healthy and endure more trials to come.

It pulls you nearer to God when you endure and count on the Lord to help you through. Through God ,all things are possible . He is there to make sure you can endure and grow wise each blessed day. We must make everyday count with God and pray for His Strength to help us endure the trials set before us .

The following passage in James speaks clearly on this subject. James 1:2-5 2 Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations; 3 Knowing that the proving of your faith worketh patience. 4 And let patience have [its] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing. 5 But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

May God bless you all and may everyone see the blessed benefit of endurance in this life. We can endure anything ,because we are never really alone and it is all part of a Holy Plan ! Praise the Lord.

Your Sister in Christ,

Julie Pisacane

What you have so eloquently described is truly how the living of life is. You have expressed the truth about our temptations and God's ways. So simple and yet so difficult for us as humans. Your perspective is very enlightening and reassuring. Your presentation is easy to read and is very well written and makes its point very well. I am always amazed how God brings us all to the same truth -- all in different ways and how we each have different views looking at the same truth -- and yours is superb...

What a gracious and merciful God who ordains the trials, the strength to endure them, the peace that comes with that understanding, and the joy that rises up from the peace! :) The Spirit sang to me through this!

For Dave Wagner: I am glad that I write for the Lord as it is His Words that guides me in my writings .I rejoice knowing others have expressed their positive thoughts with my article and I am sad that you don't understand and seem confused .May I recommend the Book of Job or James and I am sure you will gain better understanding on the topic of endurance.
The Bible can always help you.
