Standing Firm

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped
Praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will
Through all spirtual wisdom and understanding. (Colossians 1:9-10 NIV)

For in this “Thanksgiving and Prayer”, the Lord our God, will fill us with
Knowledge and spiritual wisdom and understanding. Since in the hearing
Of this praying God will fill us with many good things. All these traits are
A foundation to lie for building endurance. Which bring to mind a true story
Of the ship called, the “Endurance”, Ernest Shackle ton’s legendary Antarctic
Expedition, the ultimate tale of survival against all odds. His life account was
Mainly composed of lot losses. But his statement was he finally one at what
Mattered to him the most. He survived the unsurvivable and made sure his men
Did too, what an incredible story. I can only imagine what these twenty-seven
Must have felt like, through 1914-16, expedition to Antarctica.

This is my understanding of how Jesus Christ, helped me endure these past years
Of medical trials. There are many miraculous events, through history and through
Scripture, on the instructions on endurance. I think of how Jesus had the endurance
To go through countless, persecution and being mocked, and whipped, and tortured
On the cross. And still he was quoting scripture, and calling out to his heavenly
Father, it is finished. There have been many things directed towards me, in my path
Following the Lord daily. Whenever I read passages in scripture about endurance, or anything else I may be going through. This keeps me standing firm on the living word
Of Jesus Christ. In scripture passage(10) that we pray to please the Lord in every
Way. That we should grow in every good fruite, his glorious might, and may we have
Great endurance.

In the scripture passage of,(1st Timothy 6:10-11 NIV) speak of what the love of
Money can do to you. It is the root of all kinds of evil, some people have been
Eager for money, and wandered from their faith. They have pierced themselves
With many griefs.Paul’s Charge to Timothy (verse 11) But you man, flee from
This, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. I see this
Qualities as an essential part of endurance. By getting life into a spiritual order,
To achieve endurance. Knowing this was a devine instruction laid out,by the
Jesus Christ. This remind me of the training for spiritual endurance, this is a daily
Workout, with complete dedication. I can feel daily the Lord, equipping me with
Life skills, to be fortified with endurance. So as the the waves of challenges, swell
All around me. I can tap into my, spiritual bank account of endurance. These are
Sound accounts of endurance, through a variety of life circumstances. My heart
Sings for joy, my spirit is filled with the overflowing of spiritual endurance. For this
I give heavenly praise to the Lord “Jesus Christ”, in my daily life application.
