I'll declare what isn't,
Until it's what I see.
I'll stand within the gap,
Holding to what should be.
I'll declare His promises,
Speaking what He's said.
I'll stand within His name,
As forever I am led.
I'll declare His given Word,
Speaking out in faith.
I'll stand within His truth,
Learning of His ways.
I'll declare a miracle,
Changing what I see.
I'll stand within His glory,
Knowing this will be.
I'll declare a rain,
Showers from above.
I'll stand within the flow,
The torrents of His love.

And I WILL believe!

Great and courageously put. One can feel God is giving you the srength to go forward and do his bidding.

Very nice. I was nodding my head "yes" all the way through!

This poem misses me, which is probably my fault. I didn't connect, since a good 50% of it made no sense to me. I'll have to come back and read it again sometime - maybe it's just the mood I'm in or something, but I was left scratching my head on a lot of it, wondering what it was you were trying to say.

Color me daft, but none of this is clicking for me - it could mean anything, which might have been an intentional design choice on your part. If so, good job.

Great job, Lisa. This one didn't seem dark at all! Keep it up, girl! :)

Like Dave, I also didn't get most of what you wrote, but I like your last line!

I'll stand within the flow,
The torrents of His love.

Great line
