PEACE

“My Peace I give you, let not your heart be troubled,” is a famous scripture that is quoted; but when you’re going through a difficult time and feel as if God’s peace has left you, you then have to begin to focus on maintaining a peaceful attitude.

What do I mean by that? Ever gone through a financial hardship? Ever had your daughter run away from home and you had no idea where to find her? The questions could be endless. But the key to keep Peace in your heart is spending time with Jesus in prayer. Prayer becomes your source of strength when there is no peace.

The Scripture says, the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. You begin to pray with fervency, because you know that if God does not put his signature of Peace on your heart, you basically cannot go on.

The enemy of our soul would love to have you worry to the point that you have no peace. Our job as children of God is to live victorious lives.

How do you know that we’re peaceful? Well, you get up each day feeling as though whatever you’re going through that God has it in his hand. He is working out every situation.

You might be tempted at times to begin to worry, but that is when you need to begin to mediate on the word, “my peace I give you,” Christ is basically saying, I have given you my peace, now let go of the situation and allow me to carry you through.

I do so agree. Your comments are well-worded and founded in truth. I am always amazed how each one of us as the body of Christ has a different perspective that always leads back to the truth(Christ). Isn't it beautiful. I enjoyed reading your thoughts of truth.

Worry gives Satan many victories over Christians. May we all take your advise and pray fervently. Remember the song "Why worry, worry, worry, worry, when you can pray."

Very good work. Too often we forget to go to our Source when peace seems to have fled.

Worry is like quick sand - the more you struggle in it, the more you get sucked in! Good article. :)
