whose soul died wretched.
Listen to the utterance of a man,
wealthy on earth and wretched
in the glorious home at the end.
What is the sweetness of the egg
without the yoke within?
What is the value of wealth,
accumulated now and left later?
If the worldy materials change
now loved and later dejected.
If a child is born today,
and kept in the grave later.
Why don't we hold the treasure
whose fame never diminishes?
A name whose power reings,
a lovely jewel of all seasons.
A name now. a treasure later
kept with God our creator.
This name since creation
is treasure accumulating pressure
shining more than the unstable carats,
giving joy not as the world giveth
Lay your treasure 'o' brethren
in the place of glorious trend
if our hope is the world alone,
we are but the most wretched.
