In the book of Acts, chapter 11, verse 26, the word says,"And the disciples were called Christians first at Antioch."
A FOLLOWER, A FRIEND.
In the book of Luke, chapter 14, verse 27, the word says,"And, whosoever doth not bear his own cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple."
A BELIEVER, A CONQUEROR.
In the book of John, chapter 15, verse 8, the words says,"Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed."
A SUPPORTER, A MAINTAINER.
In the book of Luke, chapter 11, verse 1, the word, says,"And, it came to pass that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him,Lord teach us to pray."
A SERVANT, AN AIDE-DE-CAMP.
In the book of Matthew, chapter 10, verse 1, the word says,"And ,when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sicknesses and all manner of disease."
A HELPER, A COMPANION.
We were created to be His helpers.
You and I were created to be His friends.
We were created to be His followers.
You and I were created to be companions.
We are Christians.
We are children of the King.
We have been commanded to press on.
As it says in the word, in the book of John, chapter 8, verse 31, "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my DISCIPLES indeed."
