How many times have we went for and drive and ended up right back where we started? Better yet, how many times have we driven around with no directions and ended up lost?
Many of us can relate to those two questions. How many of us can turn our direction toward Christ and ask our selves, How many times have we went to the alter and ended up right back there the next Sunday? How many times have you drove yourself so far away in the oppisite direction of Christ that you have lost your way back?
Those two questions are not as easly answered. As Christians we learn very quickly what Christ can do in our lives but we still insist on trying to live our lives with out asking him first. We must learn to stop and ask for directions from Jesus. With out Christ directions in our lives we will continue to drive around in circles ending up right where we started to begin with.
God wrote out directions for us in his word. We must study his directions for our lives and renew ourselves in prayer. We will then be able to move closer to heaven, not back where we began.

always good to know where we're going.

This made me picture a dog chasing its own tail...I guess that's what it's like when we chase our own ideas and end up going in circles.
I appreciate your article and hope I take a few steps closer to Heaven today! :)
